Mrs. Alyssa Brown
My name is Alyssa Brown and I am so excited to be joining the Warren Elementary family! Prior to working at Warren I was a fifth grade teacher for seven years at New Town Elementary and a fourth grade teacher in Montgomery County Public Schools.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science from the University of Florida and a Masters degree in Elementary Education from George Washington University.
I am a Florida native and saw snow for the first time when I was 21! I currently live with my husband, two dogs – Katie and Bella, and my two daughters – Samantha and Riley. In my spare time I love to curl up with a good book, do arts and crafts with my children, and go to the movies.
I am so excited to be a part of the third grade team!
Mrs. Beth Reighart
My name is Mrs. Beth Reighart, and I am excited to have joined the teaching staff at Warren Elementary School as a third grade teacher. Prior to arriving at Warren, I was an elementary resource teacher at Seven Oaks, Pinewood, and Rodgers Forge.
I currently hold an Advanced Professional certificate which includes the following areas: Elementary Education 1-6 and Middle School, English 5-12, Special Education 1-8, and Reading Teacher K-12. My own educational background includes a Master's degree in Special Education from Loyola College (now named Loyola University Maryland) and a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Education from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
On a personal note, I am married to Charlie Reighart who is Baltimore County's Recycling and Waste Prevention Manager. In addition, my son is a senior at Saint Mary's College of Maryland and my daughter is a freshman at University of Richmond. I guess I am not truly an empty-nester because I still have two cute cats at home. I enjoy kayaking, learning about nature, and rooting for the Ravens and Orioles.
