Registration for the 2024-2025 School Year

*Registration for the 2024-2025 4school year will open in

late spring.

Students New to BCPS: Grades Pre-K-12, including those entering kindergarten.

Kindergarten Students

Children must be 5 years old by September 1 to enroll in kindergarten.

Pre-Kindergarten Students

Students must be four years old on or before September 1 to be considered for enrollment. Unlike enrollment for K-12, seats are limited in the pre-kindergarten program. The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requires that the Pre-K program be made available to students who meet automatic eligibility criteria based on educational or financial need. If space is available once the automatically eligible students have registered, other students may be placed from the applicant pool on a priority basis.

Step 1: Verify that you are zoned for WES by using this link.

Step 2: Parents/guardians are asked to begin the registration process through the Focus Parent Portal which can be found by clicking here.  If you need additional help completing this online application please view the video found here.  The password is Baltimore.

Step 3: View the BCPS registration checklist and complete all required forms.
